Automotive Grade Urea

The scientific name of AdBlue is diesel engine exhaust fluid. Used in diesel engines. It is a liquid used in SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction Technology) technology to reduce nitrogen oxide contamination in diesel exhaust. Its composition is 32.5% high purity urea and 67.5% deionized water.

As the environmental protection departments of various countries propose to further reduce the emissions of nitrogen oxides from diesel emissions. Commonly known as the European standard IV in China (also known as the four national standards). Engine manufacturers began to use SCR technology to meet the requirements of environmental protection departments.

Diesel engine exhaust fluid (domestic commonly known as automotive urea, automotive environmental protection urea), as consumables, must be used in SCR technology.

The SCR system includes a urea tank (loading diesel engine exhaust fluid), SCR catalytic reaction tank. The running of SCR system is as follows: when found nitrogen oxides in the exhaust pipe, the urea tank automatically ejected the diesel engine exhaust fluid, diesel engine exhaust fluid and nitrogen oxides occur reaction in the SCR catalytic reaction tank, turned into nitrogen and water vapor then exhausted.

If the diesel engine exhaust fluid is not loaded, or if the purity is not high, or the fluid is fake, the vehicle engine will decelerate automatically. At the same time, the fake fluid will pollute the catalyst in the SCR catalytic reaction tank, causing serious consequences. If you change the control system privately, it will cause damage to the system, it is difficult to achieve exhaust emission standards.
